Roald Dahl Day 2017!

13th September 2017

Today we celebrate 101 years since the birth of famous children's author Roald Dahl. He wrote around 19 children's books over his lifetime and was a fighter pilot as well as an author.

Today some of us dressed up as our favourite characters. See if you can pick out our Matildas, lovely Miss Honey from the same book, the spoilt Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (our one does a mean impression but is really very nice!), Mike TV from the same book and Sophie from the BFG with her dream jar. Very well done to everyone who dressed up!

We enjoyed listening to excerpts from The Witches, Matilda and Billy and the Minpins (through a live show from the puffin website).
