Climate Change Action Week 2017

Caroline Murphy from An Taisce visited the school during Climate Action Week to speak to some classes about Climate Change and its impact. When she spoke to 3rd and 6th class she discussed fossil fuels; where they came from and the effects of using them. She also spoke about how we can consume energy indirectly, Climate actions around the world and climate actions in the school.

When she visited Senior Infants, she spoke about the different ways we travel to school, pollution from cars and how it is impacting our planet.

The children really enjoyed her visit and learned lots!
