Application and Decision Dates for admission to Junior Infants for 2027-2028 school year 

The school will commence accepting applications for admission on:    Thursday 1st October 2026
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission at 12 noon on:        Thursday 22nd October 2026
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is: Wednesday 4th November 2026
The date by which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is:   12noon Friday 13th November 2026

• Note: applications made after the 22nd October will be processed as late applications, the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.
• Failure of an applicant to accept an offer within 9 days may result in the offer being withdrawn.

Are you looking for a place for your child in a Special Class for the year 2027-2028?
All parents require a Letter of Eligibility from the NCSE before applying to schools.
A parent notification portal is now available on the NCSE website for families seeking specialist placements for the 2027–28 school year. Please note that the NCSE are no longer issuing letters for the 2026–27 school year. Therefore, any pupil seeking a placement should be directed to the portal to obtain a Letter of Eligibility.

Complete the online form by 1 September 2026.

Submit professional reports and supporting documents by 15 September 2026, or as soon as possible after that date, if they are not yet available.
