On Thursday, January 23rd, Second class welcomed their Grandparents to their school as part of Catholic School’s week. A candle was lit to remember all Grandparents who weren’t with us. Pupils welcomed their Grandparents in their native language.
Grandparents have a powerful influence in a family, offering wisdom, love and stability. Grandparents are role models, imparting values and traditions, while offering a kind ear, support, comfort and security through their nurturing and kindness.
It was great to welcome so many Grandparents to our school today. The boys and girls loved preparing for the event throughout the week and celebrate the special day for their amazing grandparents!
