Fís National Award Winners!

15th November 2019

St. Paul's were delighted to be shortlisted and eventual winners in the national filmmaking competition for primary schools, Fís Film Project.

The movie, "A Better Way" was scripted, performed, edited and produced by last years 3rd class (Mrs. Gibbons). They had lots of help from other teachers with make up, costumes and music. Ms. McLoughlin even wrote a song especially for it, performed on screen by Teegan Macken.

On Wednesday 13th November the class were invited to the Helix in DCU for a glitzy ceremony. It was hosted by Sinead Kennedy (of Winning Streak game) and broadcast live online.

St  Paul’s were nominated in 3 categories, Best Costume, Best Newcomer, and Best Soundtrack. They walked away with the award for Best Newcomer, a plaque and a brand new iPad!

The ceremony will be available to be seen on fisfilmproject.ie (not yet posted at time of writing)
