Science Week 2020

12th November 2020

S.T.E.A.M activities are an integral part of the curriculum in St. Paul's. As part of Science Week 2020 a number of classes participated in a variety of experiments and learning activities. Some of these are included here just to give a flavour of events across the school. Children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class were engaged in discovery learning across a number of topics...Rainbow colours, Colour Mixing, Dancing Raisins, Creeping Water, Rocket Balloons, Lava Lamps, The relative strengths of shaped cardboard pillars,Foam Rockets, The effects of brine on eggs and How Flowers Drink...to name but a few. We hope you enjoy looking at the photos as much as we enjoyed experimenting. Why not try some of these activities at home too.
