Cara's Day in Croke Park

 Croke Park

On Sunday the 26th of June I was asked by my school to play at half time at the Dublin versus Meath Leinster semi-final in Croke Park. I played with other girls from schools in Meath against girls from a school in Dublin. When we got there we went into the dressing room and got into our Meath gear. At half time our coach brought us out of the tunnel, and I was really nervous. I played number four in defence and we were up on the big screen in front of 42,560 people. I really enjoyed the opportunity playing in Croke Park as we beat Dublin and the grass was so nice to play on it felt like running on marshmallows. It was the best day ever!
