In May we enjoyed some Staff Training led by staff members who had recently undertaken Erasmus+ trips to Iceland and Spain. The teachers that went to Iceland attended a course called “Smart Teacher’s Play More”. We learned a variety of simple games and icebreakers that could be applied to any subject in any class.
The teachers that went to Spain jobshadowed in a school in Castelldefels. They taught us some fun active games including Xs and O’s using beanbags, hoops and basketballs, and also foot rounders. We have all enjoyed learning the new techniques and implementing them in our classrooms.
